This D-100 is made of Beechwood with a Sitka Spruce top and trimmed in Mesquite.

Currently in production are a Lone Star Edition made of Mesquite and Long Leaf Pine and a Special Edition All Antique Long Leaf Pine D-100. Both should be available around mid to late February.

This D-100 Cutaway is made of the plantation grown wood Lyptus which I feel behaves much like a good rosewood giving this guitar a very powerful yet balanced sound. The guitar is available at Hill Country Music in Fredericksburg, Texas.

If you are looking for something really unique, this could be it. The soundboard is reclaimed Long Leaf Yellow Pine salvaged from flooring taken out of the Sabinal National Bank in Sabiinal, Texas. The back, sides and Neck are also Long Leaf Pine, but taken out of a beam salvaged from a warehouse somewhere in Virginia. The trim is Texas Mesquite with a Pau Ferro fingerboard. I wouldn't say this guitar booms, but it projects very nicely and has a well balanced and very clear tone.
