SJ 100 Standard Steel String Jumbo guitar. This model is patterned after the
Gibson J200. 25.5" string scale is standard with scroll inlay on the fingerboard.

M 100 The M series guitar is a smaller size instrument with a 25"
scale. I got this shape from George Morris when I took his basic class and it
remains my personal favorite. Players like the shape, light weight and balanced tone this
guitar yields.

LS 100
The Lone Star Edition! South Texas Mesquite sides, back and nick,
East Texas Long Leaf Yellow Pine soundboard, topped off with a Mesquite
bridge and fingerboard and a lone star inlayed at the 5th fret.
I build the Lone Star Edition in both the mid-size M 100 and
Dreadnaught style D 100 format.

HC 100
Hill Country Edition! The major woods for this model come from right here in Bandera
County. The sides and back are Mountain Cedar with river bottom Cypress for the
soundboard. The fingerboard and bridge of this guitar are Mesquite and Whitetail deer
antler is used for the nut and saddle.

D 100
This D 100 is about 16 1/2" at the lower bough with a 20" body length. The
depth is 4 1/2" - 5" depending on the wood choice This new shape yields a strong
base end and lots of volume while maintaining a nicely balanced tone. I also built this in
a cutaway as seen in the pages that follow. I usually built the D 100 with a 24.9"
string scale.

Parlor
My Parlor guitar for those who want or need a
smaller body guitar is about 13 1/2" wide at the lower bough with an
18" long body. It will measure about 9 1/2 " at the upper bough and
8" at the waist and is about 4" deep at the lower bough. I build it
with either a 23" or 24.9" string scale.

| Ordering
Base prices for the various models listed above will
give you an idea of what one of my guitars will cost. There are so many variables that
figure into the building of a custom guitar, however, so the best way to get an accurate
quote is to give me a call and just tell me what you want and I'll promptly work up a
price for you with all the details for your guitar in writing. The quoted price will
include a sturdy hardside case.
If you choose to place an order, and I hope you will, I ask that you return a signed
copy of the the quote with a deposit of 1/2 the agreed price and I will put your guitar in
my production schedule and let you know the approximate delivery date. As of right now,
you can expect about a four to six month wait.
As I begin working on your guitar, I will keep you posted via e-mail on the progress of
your guitar and send pictures of the building process.
The payment balance will be due when your guitar is complete and ready for pick-up or
shipment. Your guitar will be promptly shipped upon receipt of the final payment. |
