The Peterson SJ 100 is one of the nicest instruments I have ever played.
The guitar has all the deep, rich bass response you’d expect from a jumbo along with
extremely clear highs. It is so tonally balanced that it sounds amazing whether
you’re strumming chords or finger-picking. The craftsmanship is equally as impressive
as the sound quality. The inlay and binding work are done with such a meticulous attention
to detail. You really have to see and play these guitars in person to truly appreciate the
detail and time put into each one. The maple back and sides look incredible, and I really
love the hand-rubbed finish as opposed to the thick, glossy finishes that are applied to
most mass-produced acoustic guitars. The result is a very warm, open tone and a unique
look. This is a guitar that really stands out from the crowd, and I’m happy to own
such a one-of-a-kind instrument. These guitars are built by a man who loves what he does,
and believe me, it shows.
